Struggles we can address include: anxious or depressed feelings/thoughts; low mood or motivation; overwhelm; social anxiety; panic; perfectionism and other sabotaging thinking patterns; low self-confidence; immigration/settlement; grief and loss; life transitions; stress; work-related burnout or caregiver burnout; difficulties with relationships, school, or work.
Virtual and in-person therapy sessions are available to individuals 18 years+. Virtual sessions are arranged on a secure platform created for and used by healthcare workers, and that is compliant with Canadian/International privacy legislation (HIPAA, GDPR, PHIPA/PIPEDA, and HITECH). The platform is free and easy to use. In-person sessions are available through the York Wellness Collective in Newmarket, Ontario. A free 20 minute phone consult is available, followed by a brief intake process to collaboratively set and measure therapy goals.
FEES: $150 for each 50 minute session. Fees are paid to the therapist directly following the session, by e-transfer or credit card (secure payment options available). Reimbursement is available from most insurance companies, but it is best to check first what your benefits plan will cover.
